The start of the journey is when you arrive in the city of Temples, Kathmandu. From Kathmandu, you then fly to Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha. After Lumbini, the tour transfers to the Jungles of Flatlands in Chitwan. Here you spot exotic animals like Bengal Tigers, Spotted Deer, Sloth Bears, Wild Buffalos, and more.

Bandipur itself is a classical local village situated at a hilltop around 2 hours' drive away from Pokhara. From Bandipur spotting the rest eastern range in Western Nepal, the drive then leads back to Kathmandu with a drive.

As per your flight schedule, our representative from Himalayan Scenery Treks will be waiting for you at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu to greet you and welcome you to our country for the trip. After saying hello at the arrival area, we will guide you to our transportation and drive you to the hotel. You'll have the whole day to unwind from your flight.

Today in Kathmandu,  after morning breakfast, you will gather for a meeting to discuss our exciting trip in detail. 

Once the meeting is done, you get ready for a cultural sightseeing tour. Our first stop is Swayambhunath, which is the oldest monument in the valley. Then, we will visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, where you can see the temple of the Living Goddess and other beautiful medieval buildings. After that, we will head to Pashupatinath, where you can witness Hindu death rituals by the holy river. Lastly, we will visit Boudhanath, the largest Buddhist shrine in the world. 

You also have an option for a Mountain Flight to see the Himalayas of Nepal, including Mount Everest. The flight duration is 50 minutes. It is done in the early morning (6:30 or 7:00 am).

From Kathmandu, you will fly to Lumbini. Firstly you will visit the Mayadevi Temple. This temple is considered as the exact birthplace of Buddha. Travelers will get to explore the ancient ruins and monastic areas around Lumbini to learn about the old Buddhist traditions. You will also see the Ashoka Pillar. It is an important monument that shows Emperor Ashoka's devotion to Buddhism.

You will keep exploring by going to the Lumbini Museum where you will know the history and culture of this UNESCO World Heritage site. We will also be visiting nearby monasteries and stupas, each with its own unique designs and peaceful vibes.

When the day comes to an end, you’ll go back to the hotel for a relaxing evening. Drive to Chitwan (415m|1361ft)

This drive will take you from Lumbini to Chitwan covering an approximate distance of 150km. After 3-4 hours of drive, you get to the luxury resort in Chitwan. After check-in, the travelers head for the village tour and sunset view at Rapti River Bank. After that, you get back to the resort for a feisty dinner and interesting cultural performances of Tharus.

The sixth day will start a fun jungle safari in Chitwan National Park, where you go on a jeep. The fascinating thing about this safari is, that you get to have a great breakfast in the middle of the jungle spotting animals and birds. 

This place allows exploration of green forests and grassy plains. You’ll see rare animals like one-horned rhinos, Bengal tigers, and different kinds of birds. 

After the safari, travelers will have a tasty lunch back at the resort. We will also visit the Elephant Breeding Center to see how they're working to protect these amazing animals. In the evening, You will head back to your hotel for a Tharu cultural dance show if not observed the previous night.

The next day, you will leave Chitwan and hop on a plane ride to Pokhara. When you reach Pokhara, you will be checked into your hotel and settled in. You can take some time to relax and get ready before you start exploring this beautiful city surrounded by the Himalayan mountains.

Today, you explore the major parts of the city. Namely, Davis’ Falls, Mahendra Cave, International Mountain Museum, and Lake Fewa (in the evening).

Today starts pretty early with a drive to Sarangkot. You head to Sarangkot for the best sunrise view over the Annapurna Mountains. With this visual feast, you return back to the hotel. After breakfast, if you have opted for the adventure activities, you will be assisted accordingly. If not the adventure then, you will drive to the Tibetan Refugee Camp and World Peace Pagoda for the day.

Both the activities cover almost whole days.

In the adventure activities, the following activities include Paragliding, Ziplining, Bungee Jumping, Ultra-light Flight, and White River Rafting. Depending on the timing, you can easily cover at least 3 activities out of them.

With a 2-3 hours drive from Pokhara in a private car, you reach the Bandipur Village, Queen of Hills. The village is well-known for its architecture, hospitality, and the views of mountain ranges. This fascinating village makes sure that you stay in comfort after the tiring two days tour in Pokhara.

Today you are heading back to Kathmandu from Bandipur, ending your adventure through Nepal's amazing culture and nature. You will enjoy a relaxed evening in Kathmandu, maybe going back to your favorite places or trying out delicious local food, before getting ready for your departure the next day.

    On the final day of your trip, we will take you to the airport according to your flight schedule to go back home or to your next destination. If you have some extra time, Himalayan Scenery Treks might be able to organize another program for you.
