Welcome to Kathmandu – 1,400m: In accordance with your flight schedule, we will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to extend a warm welcome to you in our beautiful country for the beautiful trip. After exchanging warm welcome greetings at the arrival section, we will lead you to our vehicle to drop you off at our trip hotel. It’s a day at complete leisure, you will be on your own and you can do whatever you want to do for refreshment. But we definitely will be happy to guide you around the city.

Preparation and Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu – B On the second day of arrival we will be interacting with each other. After early breakfast, every guest needs to arrive at the Company to review their trip so that they can buy and manage the required stuff for their trips. After talking about the trip we will be taking our guests for a cultural sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley. The destination for sightseeing includes Swoyambhunath - the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square – to see the temple of Living Goddess and other medieval architectural wonders, Pashupatinath – to immerse into Hindu death rites on the bank of a holy river, and Boudhanath – a massive Buddhist shrine considered as the biggest in the world.

We leave Kathmandu today on an overland journey to Syabrubesi in the morning. The highway runs winding past several rural towns and heads towards Trishuli Bazar. After a break in Trishuli Bazar, our road trip heads towards Syabrubesi, the destination for the day.

The road trip on that day brings us an insight into the rural lifestyle in Nepal. The drive along the beautiful Trishuli River gives an idea of the richness of Nepal in natural resources. Fertile farmland on the river plateau, terraced fields, and roadside towns are apt examples to give some glimpses of Nepalese countryside life.

After having breakfast, we will be checking and questioning our clients if they have any problems with their physical state. After finding up with checking, we will set off on an exciting trekking journey today from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel. We will cover the elevation of about 1,000 meters on the very first day of our trek in the Langtang region.

The walk introduces us to the mountain cultures of the region and the amazing views and landscapes that heighten our excitement about the following trekking days. Although the name, of our destination today, sounds like the name of a hotel, it’s the name of an overnight place on the Langtang Valley trekking route. Lama Hotel serves as an ideal location to spend overnight after a full day of trekking journey on the mountain trail.

We will gain another significant elevation level when we trek to Langtang valley. Before the devastating earthquake in 2015, trekkers used to stay in the Langtang village itself. But as the village was swept away in a landslide during the earthquake, the settlement has been shifted to a new and safe place.

The walk today brings lots of cultural and spiritual experiences in addition to the natural marvels. Buddhist prayer flags, Mani walls, and chhortens along the trail significantly signal the dominance of Buddhist culture in the region. It’s a beautiful day full of fascinating encounters along the trail.

The trek will take us further higher up to Kaynjing Gompa. The beautiful day trek reveals some nonpareil sights to us along the trail. The influence of Buddhism and ethnic culture clearly sets the region apart from the lower region that we traveled through. When we reach Kyanjing Gompa for our overnight stay, we can explore an ancient and beautiful Buddhist monastery, the Kyanjing Gompa. The monastery is one of the most important spiritual sites in the Langtang region.

We will set off on an early morning hike to Kyanjing RI at the elevation of 4,350 meters above sea level. This elevation will put us at the highest altitude of our trek. Kyanjing RI offers a spectacular sight of the panoramic Langtang range.

We enjoy the breathtaking view of mountain peaks and beautiful sunrise and hike down back towards Lama Hotel. It’s a long day walk today adding the early morning Kyanjing RI hike to the walk to Lama Hotel (2,560 m).

Our elevation descent keeps continuing on our walk today to Thulo Syabru, a beautiful Tamang village in the region. We can enjoy the views of the Langtang range and other spectacular landscapes during our trek today. The trail that meanders through local villages and wooded areas is a nice walking experience. When we reach Thulo Syabru (2,230 m) after about 5 hours of trail traversing, we can explore this beautiful place.

We will start on our ascent again towards Gosainkunda. Almost about 1100 meters of elevation gain will take us to Shin Gompa (3,350 Meters). Although the elevation gain is high, the walk is comparatively shorter, at about 4 hours. Shin Gompa is an ideal place to stay overnight to acclimatize and rest as we are going higher on the trek to Gosainkunda and crossing a high pass – Lauri Binayak pass.

The walk today to Gosainkunda (4,380 Meters) is a challenging yet beautiful adventure. The uphill challenge with almost 1,000 meters of elevation gain takes us well above 4,000 meters from sea level. The trail that winds through mountains toward the destination brings some breathtaking views of the long Himalayan range including Langtang, Manaslu, and Ganesh Himal range. The view gives us the energy to walk further ahead despite the tough challenge of the high-altitude trekking.

We will reach Gosainkunda which, is a holy pilgrimage site for the Hindus and has a beautiful sight to behold. The area has a cluster of lakes including the holy Gosainkunda – the third one amongst them. The surrounding has such a beautiful atmosphere, it will make us forget our high altitude situation and enjoy the view.

Our adventurous walk today takes us to the highest elevation of the trek while crossing Lauri Binayak pass (4,610 m ). We will trek to Gopte today via the pass and the trail towards the pass runs past the cluster of lakes in the region. The rugged trail up the hill eventually brings us to the pass for an astounding view that rewards the early morning challenge that we take. Later we descend the trail and walk further ahead to Gopte (3,440 m) via Phedi for the overnight stay.

Kutumsang (2,430 m) will be the destination of our walk today. Heading down the trail towards lower elevation is a great relief that we experience on the adventure. Awe-inspiring mountain vistas, beautiful and peaceful nature, and the walkthrough local villages make our day really wonderful. About five hours of trail wandering takes us eventually to Kutumsang to spend overnight there. Some cultural exploration of the place might add some more wonders to our list.

We will emerge to one of the Kathmandu valley ridges on our trek today. While trekking to Chisapani (2,120 m), a Kathmandu valley ridge, we go through the beautiful trail that provides wonderful views of mountain peaks. Even after reaching Chisapani after about 5 hours of walking, we can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the mountains.

It’s will be all downhill and the final day of the walk. We will set off on our final day walk down to Sundarijal. The trail runs through local villages and forests before reaching Sundarijal. We will get into our vehicle waiting for us and drive to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, we spend leisurely time back in the chaos of the city after so many days of serene mountain air and incredible adventure.

On the last day of this trip, we drive you to the airport as per your flight schedule back to home or onward destination.

We definitely hope that you enjoyed the Langtang Gosainkunda Trek and hope to see you for another adventure soon.
