In accordance with your flight schedule, we will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to extend a warm welcome to you in our beautiful country for the beautiful trip. After exchanging warm welcome greetings at the arrival section, we will lead you to our vehicle to transfer you to our trip hotel. It’s a day at complete leisure on your own to relax the jetlag. But we definitely help you with the information to go around in case you’d like to do so.

From this day onward, we will be preparing for the Naya Kanga Peak climbing. In the morning we will meet at the office for a briefing and introduction to your climbing leader. Once the trip briefing is over, answer your queries if you have any.

After the brief meeting is over, we are taking you for an amazing cultural sightseeing tour of heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. The sites we take you for sightseeing today include Swoyambhunath - the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square – to see the temple of Living Goddess and other medieval architectural wonders, Pashupatinath – to immerse into Hindu death rites on the bank of a holy river, and Boudhanath – a massive Buddhist shrine considered as the biggest in the world. After the tour is completed you can also do last-minute shopping to buy gear for the expedition.

We will leave Kathmandu today on an overland journey to Syabrubesi in the morning. The highway runs winding past several rural towns and heads towards Trishuli Bazar. After a break in Trishuli Bazar, our road trip heads towards Syabrubesi, the destination for today.

The road trip today brings us an insight into the rural lifestyle in Nepal. The drive along the beautiful Trishuli River gives an idea of the richness of Nepal in natural resources. Fertile farmland on the river plateau, terraced fields, and roadside towns are apt examples to give some glimpses of Nepalese countryside life.

After having breakfast, we will be checking and questioning our clients if they have any problems with their physical state. After finishing up with our packing and stuff, we will set off on an exciting trekking journey today from Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel.

We cover the elevation of about 1,000 meters on the very first day of our trek in the Langtang region. The walk introduces us to the mountain cultures of the region and the amazing views and landscapes that heighten our excitement about the following trekking days. Although the name, of our destination today, sounds like the name of a hotel, it’s the name of an overnight place on the Langtang Valley trekking route. Lama Hotel serves as an ideal location to spend overnight after a full day of trekking journey on the mountain trail.

We will gain another significant elevation level today when we trek to Langtang valley today. Before the devastating earthquake in 2015, trekkers used to stay in the Langtang village itself. But as the village was swept away in a landslide during the earthquake, the settlement has been shifted to a new and safe place.

The walk will bring lots of cultural and spiritual experiences in addition to the natural marvels. Buddhist prayer flags, Mani walls, and Chhortens along the trail significantly signal the dominance of Buddhist culture in the region. It’s a beautiful day full of fascinating encounters along the trail.

The trek on this day will take us further higher up to Kaynjing Gompa. The beautiful day trek reveals some nonpareil sights to us along the trail. The influence of Buddhism and ethnic culture clearly sets the region apart from the lower region that we traveled through. When we reach Kyanjing Gompa for our overnight stay, we can explore an ancient and beautiful Buddhist monastery, the Kyanjing Gompa. The monastery is one of the most important spiritual sites in the Langtang region.

After five days of the continuous trek, today is the rest and acclimatization day. We need to acclimatize our bodies so as to adapt to the harsh environment of the high-altitude Himalayan region. Taking proper acclimatization helps to avoid mental and physical illness.

As an acclimatization day, we will spend our day today exploring the beautiful village of Kyanjing Gompa. A short hike to the North above the Kyanjing Gompa is a good place for acclimatization as the place is full of magnificent views of surrounding high peaks like Langtang (7,227m), Yala (5,500m), Shishapangma (8,013) and Dorje Lakpa (6,966m) and beautiful valleys.

We will also hike up to Tserko Ri (4984 meters). As we hike towards Tserko Ri we will pass through various pasture land where yak can be seen grazing. As we walk, we will take time to capture the picturesque view of the valley and surrounding our camera lenses. Once we explore the Tseko Ri, we will hike back to Kyanjing Gompa for an overnight stay.

Waking up early with the sound of birds and the cool breeze of air, we begin our hike to Naya Kanga Base Camp. As we follow the trail lined with juniper shrubs, our hike takes a descent to Langtang Khola and to Ngegang. Crossing the Suspension bridge, we hike through juniper shrubs on both sides accompanied by the splendid view of Langtang Lirung and the glacier, we finally arrive at the base camp of Naya Kanga Base Camp.

Taking a rest day to acclimatize is very crucial while hiking in high-altitude regions. An acclimatization day helps your body to withstand the lower oxygen level in the high-altitude region. So we take a rest here in the baser camp to acclimatize so as to ensure the successful climbing of Naya Kanga Peak. While we are taking a rest at the base camp, our Sherpa crew will check all the necessary climbing gears and other equipment we require to ascend the top of Naya Kanga Peak.

After a good rest, we will begin our day early, as the hike today is quite tricky. After breakfast, we will leave the base camp and take steep grounds as we move towards the high camp. The trail to the high camp consists of Rocky icy landscape making our hike a little adventurous.

While hiking through this trail you need to be extra cautious so as to not trip and sprain your ankle. As our hike takes us closer and closer to the high camp we will be blessed with magnificent views of the Himalayas, limited at first but turning into a panoramic view as we reach the top.

Finally, it’s the day to summit Naya Kanga Peak, the day that we are all waiting for. Getting up early before the sunrises with a vision to reach the top of Naya Kanga Peak, we will get ready for making our ascent of Naya Kanga peak. We will start our ascent early and finish the climb before noon as the strong winds after midday can create obstacles for us to reach the summit.

As per the guidelines of our climbing leader, we begin our ascent following the steep ascent from the Northside. We will take a good amount of time to ascend, as making a thing quicker may bring us some serious hazards. Once we arrive at the top of the Naya Kanga peak we will be blessed with a 360 degrees panoramic view of the Himalayas of Nepal and Tibet. This is time to celebrate and take pride in achieving the height of Naya Kanga Peak.

From the top, we will see the entire Langtang Lirung Massif, the glaciers, Tserko Ri (4984m), Yala peak (5500m), Shishapangma (8013) and Dorje Lakpa (6966m), and so on. After capturing all the scenarios from the Too Naya Kanga peak, we will make our way down to the Base Camp. Reaching the base camp we will take a rest as the day has been long and strenuous.

Retracing the trail as we took before, we will descend down until we arrive at the suspension bridge over the Langtang River. Crossing the suspension bridge over the Langtang river, our hike takes an uphill climb through juniper shrubs before reaching Kyanjin Gompa. As we are accompanied by the beautiful scenery, we pass Chhona Lake and then a downhill hike reaches the Kyanging Gompa. Passing Kyanging gompa, we will hike easily until we arrive at the Langtang village for an overnight stay.

It’s the last day of the trekking portion of this trip. We will trek back down to Syabrubesi today to end the trek. As we will walk back down on the same trail that we took on the way up, we will see the wonders of the place from a different angle and perspective and also will have a chance to get closer to the cultural riches of the place. Once we are in Syabrubesi, we will have time to explore this beautiful, small town for the rest of the day as we are staying there overnight.

We will take a bus ride back to Kathmandu on the same highway. About 7 hours of bus journey brings us to the chaotic civilization of Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, we spend leisurely time back in the chaos of the city after so many days of serene mountain air and incredible adventure.

On the last day of this trip, we drive you to the airport as per your flight schedule back to home or onward destination.

We definitely hope that you enjoyed the trip and hope to see you for another adventure soon.

Nepal is a country full of heart-warming natural beauty and a magnificent travel destination for thrill and adventure seekers all around the globe. In spite of the fact that Nepal is an adventure paradise for the nature lover and thrill seeker. But in some cases, the thrilling experience comes up with a serious hazard. The most exciting, and joyful trip may backfire on us and we may have to be the victim of nature.
