Green Valley  Homestay Trek is a specially designed trek for those people who want to observe and experience the Nepali Lifestyle from up close. This homestay trek is like an oasis for those travelers who want to have a taste ofauthentic Nepali culture and tradition while living with them.  

On this 6-day Green Valley  homestay trek, you will live in a Nepali traditional house where you interact with people, immerse in their culture, learn the local language, take a part in the agricultural lifestyle, and observe the local religious practices.

During the trek you will walk through the picturesque trail and rolling meadow, leading you right to the small yet magnificent village of Ramche. Ramche is a village in Dhading district situated at the border of Kathmandu valley in the Bagmati Zone, this village is inhabited by different caste and creeds which represent a variety of Indo-Aryan and Mongoloid cultures.

 After arriving at this village, we spend two days getting a peek into the local life, living through similar conditions, being part of their daily life, and hence learning more about their culture and tradition. Being part of their daily lifestyle includes ingesting local delicious food, working in the field with local farmers, looking after the cattle, and many more.

Few homes, fewer people, going about their lives in these treacherous parts of the earth with a smile on their lips, and the stories filled with mysticism in their hearts. Ready to be revealed, ready to be concealed within your souls, diaries, and cameras.

In accordance with your flight schedule, we will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to extend a warm welcome to you in our beautiful country for the beautiful trip. After exchanging warm welcome greetings at the arrival section, we will lead you to our vehicle to drop you off at our trip hotel. It’s a day at complete leisure, you will be on your own and you can do whatever you want to do for refreshment. But we definitely will be happy to guide you around the city.

In the early morning, a representative along with the team member will visit you at the hotel for a briefing about the trip. Once the briefing and meeting up with the team member is completed, we will have breakfast and get ready for the magnificent journey to Dhading.

Dhading is one of the remote regions which lies 45 Kilo Meter far from Kathmandu. A few hours of a ride along the scenic ride through the forest and serpentine road reaches hustle and bustle free city of Dhading. This town is not so exciting; however, the small village surrounding this town is something worth watching. Moreover, this is the place where you will find truly authentic traditional Nepali lives. An hour or two drive from Dhading Besi village reaches the small village of Ramche. 

Waking up with a chicken roaster is the best way to start the day. Open your front door, breathe in that fresh air, and smile. The sound of birds singing, the cows bleating, the bees buzzing and the smoke coming from the houses of the chimney will give you the feel of the village lifestyle. All these wonderful and melodious sounds you hear will simply be the best moment of your entire life.

We will start our day with a morning hike to the top ridge of the village. From here you can have a glimpse of the first light over the snow-capped mountains, including Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, and Annapurna Himal. When the first ray of the sun strikes the peak of the Himalayas; that golden light strikes you with awe and takes your breath away.

After enjoying the magnificent sunrise we will hike down to the host home through the jungle to have the morning breakfast. Once we finish with breakfast, you can volunteer for the household work of the host home. The activities included looking after the goats, cows, and other domesticated animals. Once done with the work we will have lunch in the daytime. After lunch, you can join the local farmers to help them out with the fieldwork. Later in the evening, we will return to the host house to take some rest and be prepared for the next day.

Waking up with the fresh air, chill weather, and smell of mud coming from houses really make you feel refreshed and truly alive. Then enjoying a decent breakfast made of fresh local ingredients, will help you get energized for the hike.

Today we will be hiking to Sthanapati Hill, which is a 1-hour hike from our homestay. We will visit several places including Sthanapati Temple, and local Schools which will make the hike even more interesting. Once we are at the top you will be able to see the mountains around you blending with nature while representing its beauty. You will be able to see mountains including Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Annapurna, and Langtang.

We will organize small volunteer work when we are at School. We will help with some issues related to school. If you want to learn more about them, you can interact with children and help them sort out their issues. We will provide them with lunch and some stationery materials to help them in school. Once we finish our volunteering here we will hike to Hanuman Danda.

While hiking around Sthanapati we will visit Hanuman Danda Temple, where you will be able to know about the Hindu deity. There are more than 10 statues of Hindu deities. We will fill you up with info about that deity and its importance in our Hindu Society.

After exploring the place, we will hike back to our homestay.

Enjoying the last glimpses of this magnificent village, we will drive back to Kathmandu following the same route we took to arrive at the village. Once at Kathmandu, one of the representatives from the Himalayan scenery Treks will meet you and transfer you back to the hotel.

If you are interested in extending the trip, then you can try different adventure activities such as jungle safari, river rafting, paragliding, mountain biking, and other activities. We will be more than happy to guide you on your journey.

    On the last day of this trip, we drive you to the airport as per your flight schedule back to home or onward destination.

Similarly, multiple-entry tourist visas for 90 days can be obtained by paying US $ 100. Please bring 2 passport-size photos.

During the trip, the factors such as weather, natural disaster, or a multitude of other factors which are beyond our control can subsequently bring changes in the itinerary. Although all the itinerary we provide to you is guided and standard; please note that your team leader has the authority to alter or even drop the planned itinerary of any part if it is necessary due to safety concerns. All the alterations or changes to the standard itinerary are made by the leader by taking into consideration the best interest of the whole group. We give our best effort to stick with the above-mentioned itinerary; however, in case of any unpredicted event which is beyond our control, you need to be flexible and take after the guideline as instructed by your leader.

      A great experience 100% recommendable

      We did the Annapurnas sunrise + 2 days in Pokhara. The Annapurna sunrise was fantastic. The views are spectacular. Our guide, Amar Maga, recommended we change the initial itinerary and it was the best idea. We did a very beautiful trek with a fantastic accomplishment, Amar (guide) and Dawa (porter). 100% recommendable (trip + Amar + Dawa)

      Memorable trip to Nepal

      Just returned from one of the best trips of my life visiting the beautiful country of Nepal with a group of friends.Nepalese seem to be one of the most friendly and trustworthy people .Visited Kathmandu and then a tour to Pokhara ,trekking up to Pun hill to have a grand vista of Annapurna range. The guide, Amar was very supportive and friendly, and looked after all of us well. We had to change our trekking plans he was quite accommodative and got everything sorted out for us and did his best to make sure we had the best possible experience both culturally and in trekking. Safari at Chirwaan and we were lucky enough to have a glimpse of Bengali Tiger and a bear, and quite a few Rhinos. Now back home with memories to treasure for a life time.
