“An amazing feel of touch and rejuvenating aura, what one can ask for.”

Differentiated from the Annapurna district by the Kali Gandaki the Dhaulagiri massif incorporates more than 30 tops over 6000 meters, eight of these surpassing 8000 meters. The region around Tansen is home to the Magar individuals and the capital of the free kingdoms to wind up a piece of Nepal.

From Dhorepatan the display of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri reaches is extraordinary and this remote region is home to neighborhoods of Tibetan outcasts who scan the territory for minerals and medicinal plants.

This is a long, troublesome trek around Dhaulagiri (8167m) that begins from Beni on the Kali Gandaki. Accompany the Myagdi Khola westwards to Darbang and transform north on a minor trail that leads through woods into the high nation. A significant part of the track is on snow and glacial masses as it crosses French Col (5240m), navigates the head of Hidden Valley, and crosses 5155m Dhampus Pass. The trek closes with a steep plunge to Marpha and a comeback to Pokhara, either through the Kali Gandaki valley or over the Ghorepani edge for a surrounding perspective of the whole Dhaulagiri massif.

One should grab an opportunity to come and see this beautiful region which is full of nature at its best. With a single touch of glimpse, it has an amazing power to captivate one’s mind and heart overall. Himalayan Scenery Treks & expedition welcomes you all to join us for the wonderful holiday. In accordance with your flight schedule, we will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to extend a warm welcome to you in our beautiful country for the beautiful trip. After exchanging warm welcome greetings at the arrival section, we will lead you to our vehicle to drop you off at our trip hotel. It’s a day at complete leisure, you will be on your own and you can do whatever you want to do for refreshment. But we will be happy to guide you around the city.

On the second day of arrival, we will be interacting with each other. After early breakfast, every guest needs to arrive at Company to review their trip so that they can buy and manage the required stuff for their trips. After talking about the trip, we will be taking our guests on a cultural sightseeing tour around Kathmandu valley.

The destination for sightseeing includes Swoyambhunath - the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square – to see the temple of Living Goddess and other medieval architectural wonders, Pashupatinath – to immerse into Hindu death rites on the bank of a holy river, and Boudhanath – a massive Buddhist shrine considered as the biggest in the world.

The overland journey to Dhaulagiri begins with a 45 minutes scenic flight to Pokhara. After having the early breakfast, we will take a short drive to the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport for an early morning flight to Pokhara. We board a small, fixed-winged aircraft and set off on an adventurous yet worthy aerial journey to Pokhara. Soon after an incredible flight experience, we will find ourselves in the Nepals’ number 1 adventure and leisure city, Pokhara.

Reaching Pokhara, we drive to Darbang via Beni. This short and relaxing drive along with a magnificent view of lush hills and snowcapped mountains will give you the glimpses of mystical journey awaiting ahead of us. We follow the Kaligandaki River, pass Beni, and follow Myagdi Khola to arrive at the camping site of Darbang.

After finishing up with breakfast, we will begin our trekking Journey with a steep ascend to the Sibang. Walking out of Darbang, we hike towards the ridge-top village of Dharapani. From this village, you can get the astonishing views of the Dhaulagiri massif along with Gurja Himal (7193m), and Putha Hiunchuli (7246m). Continuing our trek along the path above Myagdi Khola, we eventually arrive at Sibang.

Enjoying with hot breakfast cooked on fire on the camping ground we will start our trekking. The final stop will be Naura. Walking out of Sibang, our trail descends to Gatti Khola and then climbs up to the village of Muri. It’s a small village that is mostly inhabitant by the Magar people. Crossing the suspension bridge over Dhola Khola, our trail descends and passes through terraced farm fields and various small settlements before we arrive at Naura for the overnight.

From Naura, we ascend begins on the mountainside. Sometimes of uphill climbing, and a path that traverses the steep grass-covered hills. And trailing further away in well-constructed zigzag stone steep paths while descending through a forested area, emerging to a ridge snout Baghara becomes visible elevate at 2050m.

From this village, the real challenge for the trek shows up. The path will be difficult with more ascending and descending to do. The hike will last five hours long before we reach Dobang. We will be able to see some mountain panoramas while ascending toward our destination. After reaching Dobang we will build our camp and stay here overnight.

Finishing up with our breakfast we will continue our trek toward Italian Base Camp. We will trek gently on ascending path passing through dense forests of rhododendron, pine, and bamboo. Once you see a crest to climb, the gentle trek is over you should climb uphill. from the crest top, you can see the wall of Dhaulagiri-I.

As we move closer and closer to the Italian Base Camp you will encounter the glaciers. As you reach the Camp, you can enjoy the view of the Dhaulagiri range, Manapathi Peak, and Dhaulagiri-II is truly inspiring and breathtaking. the camping site is beneath the west face of Dhaulagiri-I where we will be camping overnight.

The trek is considered difficult so rest is a must if you want to complete your trek. We will be taking a break from our hiking and will rest for today. We will explore around the base camp so that we can adjust to the air at high altitudes. We will visit tea houses which have some trekkers items you can pick up some items. After exploring the tea houses and enjoying the breathtaking views of the Dhaulagiri range and Manapathi peak we will return to our camping site for the overnight.

Your body today will feel much lighter which will be helpful for today’s trekking. We will continue our trek toward the Japanese Base Camp. The trail is much rougher with rocks and traversing steep slopes and slippery glaciers. After some time, we will cross the moraine of glaciers flowing down from the Dhaulagiri. We also need ropes to do some climbing on today’s trekking. After 5 hours of trekking, we will reach our final stop Japanese Base Camp. Today as well we camp the overnight.

Today’s as well will be one rough day for trekking. You should trek through the slippery glaciers' path. The climb uphill will be much tougher and more challenging. Climbing uphill for five hours is one hell of a task. But once you are at Dhaulagiri Base Camp you will forget the suffering you have gone through. You will be stunned as you see Dhaulagiri-I standing before you. Other than Dhaulagiri you will see various peaks like Dhaulagiri II, (7751m), III (7715m), and IV (7618m). we will camp overnight. Opposite our camping site lies a spectacular ice fall flowing Between Tukuche and Dhaulagiri.

Our legs are hurting from yesterday’s uphill climb so this rest day will help us to recover. We will explore Dhaulagiri Base Camp. You will also adjust to altitude if you are to explore around the Camp. If you climb a bit above Camp you will get a spectacular view of the Dhaulagiri Range. After exploring around for while we will return to base camp for the rest. We will be camping for an overnight stay.

Finishing up our hot breakfast on a cold morning we will start our trekking towards the French col from where the view of the hidden valley will stun you. But before getting that inspired feeling, you should get off the glacier for which you should do some rope climbing.

After doing some hard work on rope climbing you will get to trek on less strenuous terrain. After climbing for some time to French Col, the hidden valley is also reminiscent of Tibet and Ladakh. The temperature here is at least -20 degrees Celsius. We will then trek towards the hidden valley where we will camp overnight.

To reach Yak Kharka we first need to cross the Dhampus Pass and the trek will last for about seven hours. Trek to Dhampus is tough as you should climb steep uphill. Not only uphill is challenging but downhill is as tough as uphill. While descending we will pass through avalanche-prone slopes and rocky slopes. After descending through a challenging trail, we will reach an open space where yak grazes. This open grazing space is known as Yak Kharka. We will camp at Yak Kharka for the overnight stay.

Today’s trek is going to be the easiest after all those days of hard and tough trekking. Our final stop for the day is Jomsom. After having a hot breakfast at camp, we will hike downhill towards kali Gandaki valley from where we can reach the settlement of Allubari (3400 meters).

Again, descending from Allubari we will eventually reach the village of Marpha which is elevated at (2667m). here at Marpha village, you can do some shopping as the village is beautiful and there is a number of crafts shops around the village. From Marpha village we will gain some elevation to reach our final stop for the day Jomsom. Here you can enjoy the completion of your trek. We will do some campfire with local apple Marpha(alcohol) and beers. We will camp overnight.

We will fly back to Pokhara to give our bodies rest. You will get to see the Himalayan Panoramas while flying back to Pokhara. Once we arrive at Pokhara we will check our hotel and leave our stuff. We will get fresh and ready to explore lake city. You can enjoy the view of Mt. Machhapuchhre and Phewa Lake. Today we will be staying at the hotel overnight.
