On the way to Jagat situated in Lamjung, you will have a great time enjoying the stunning views of the Himalayas. Driving on the Prithvi highway, you pass through beautiful Nepalese townships which will be showing you basic glimpses pure countryside of Nepal. We follow the winding Trishuli river and then follow the Marshyangdi river till Besi Sahar. From here we follow the Bhalam Khola pass Khudi, and Bhulbhule, and then walk side by side with quite a few settlements of Syange. Leaving the Marshyangadi river, we ascend uphill to reach a small community of Jagat.

Leaving Jagat behind, we will walk for approximately 5 hours to reach Dharapani. Commencing on our trek, we start off with the downhill walk to the Marshyangdi River and then hike through a verdant forest. The trekking route to Dharapani offers an attention-grabbing view of lofty Himalayan ranges. Enjoying the beautiful scenery, we continue our hike on a slippery trail to Sattale.

Beyond Sattale the trail continues on the cliffside until we arrive at Tal Beshi. Walking on a zigzag path on a steep uphill for 20 minutes will takes you to the small settlement of Tal (1700 m). This amazing village offers you the beautiful scenery of several waterfalls in and around the area.

Hiking out of this village after lunch, we take a gentle walk on the straight path to reach the Karte (1900 m) and then continue to Dharapani on the flat motorable road. Dharapani is the junction point Manaslu circuit trek and Annapurna circuit trek.

Today is the interesting part of the trek as the hike brings some spectacular views of the mountains massif. The trek today begins with a heavenly sunrise view over the high hills. After enjoying the sunrise, we will begin our morning walk through a densely wooded area of oak and pine. While walking at a slow pace through the forest you will also be accompanied by the south face of Mt. Manaslu (8163 m).

After a short walk, the eye-catching view of the Annapurna II also becomes visible. As we are moving towards the high altitude, we will take a slow pace and enough resting time to adjust to the high altitude surrounding. Easy ascend with a slow pace give us ample time to acclimatize along with enjoy the majestic views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. After a while of walking and observing the ever-changing landscape, we will reach the district headquarter of Manang District- Chame. Chame is a wonderful village lying on the shore of the river. Once we reach Chame, we will have enough time to explore this beautiful settlement.

The trek today will take us to the elevation of 3,300 meters above sea level. As we ascend towards the high altitude today, you will see the change in landscapes. We will start our morning hike today, passing through an alpine forest to reach a deserted village of Bhartang. From here we will follow the flat trail on a narrow hillside until we ascend a steep long journey through the forest. As we get out of the forest, the views of the mountains slowly appear, and also the path widens.

As you hike closer to the destination, you will have some magnificent views of the giant peaks of Annapurna and Pisang Peak. Traversing the trail for a couple of hours gives you a beautiful walking experience until you reach the village of lower Pisang. Although we can trek up to the upper part of Pisang, it will be a bit rough for us so, we will spend the night at the lower part.

The hike today enters the beautiful Manang Valley. Today, we will take a longer and more beautiful route than the shorter and more dangerous route to Manang. The route passes through Upper Pisang via Geru village. Hiking on this trail brings you some spectacular views of the Himalayas. Beginning our hike from Pisang, we climb on an uphill trail for half an hour for reaching the top. Once we reach the top, we will stop at the ridge to get our first view of Manang Valley. Climbing downhill and then walk-in upstream all along the Marshyangdi River reaches Julu Village.

Today we will take a day off from our hiking schedule to acclimatize and make ourselves ready to go further up in the high-altitude region. On this acclimatization day, we will all spend the whole day resting and exploring the village. Exploring the village area and interacting with the local individuals provides you a better glimpse of the local lifestyle of Nepalese people. You could also enjoy the stunning views of Annapurna, Gangapurna, and Tilicho, throughout the day.

Today we will leave the classic Annapurna Circuit trek and walk towards the Chulu East Base Camp. We will begin our hike for the day with a walk through vertical grazing land to a vacant set where the pasture fuses with a rock. A slow ascend uphill accompanied by magnificent views of the pristine snow-topped Himalayas ranges reaches Chulu East Base Camp. Chulu East Base Camp is flanked by the Far East and East Peaks of Chulu. Reaching the Base Camp, you will be spellbound seeing the magnificent views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range standing so close to you.

Today is the most challenging part of the trek as the hike today follows the snow slopes. We start our morning walk with a decent uphill climb towards the north. During our uphill climb, we will follow the Chegaji River. After a while of an exhausting uphill climb, we arrive at moraines beneath the col.

We then walk on snowy slopes in order to reach the High Camp. You need to place your footstep very carefully as the trail is slippery. As we are at high altitude, a small mistake can bring serious injury and may cost your life as well. After a slow and easy walk on a snowy slope, we reach the Chulu East High Camp. Reaching here gives you the feeling of reaching the apex of the world. As we reach the High Camp, we will rest at the camp to rest for acclimatization.

Another day to rest. Today we will rest and acclimatize at the high camp. As we are at a high altitude, taking a break helps you to adjust to the climate of increasing altitude. Taking a day to acclimatize while going on a trip to a higher altitude minimizes the risk of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) as well.

During our rest time at High Camp, our guide will help you to explore the area. In the meantime, our crew members will fix the ropes where needed and make everything ready to summit the Chulu East Peak, the next day.

After a long and tiring hike, the day to summit the glorious Chulu East Peak has finally arrived. On this main day, the summit push trek begins in pre-dawn. On this significant day of summiting the Chulu East Peak, we begin our morning walk on the snow ridge which is quite challenging. At some points, we may have to use the climbing gears.

Once we summit Chulu East Peak you can witness the great panoramic vistas of the adjacent snow-topped mountains. You can also view the breathtaking landscape of the valley below. We will rest for a while here enjoying the summit view and taking photographs. After a short rest, we will climb down to the high camp where we will take a short rest and have our share of celebrating this glorious victory. After rest and packing things up, we descend to the base camp.

After a successful summit of the Chulu East Peak and spending overnight at the base camp, today we retrace our trail back to Julu. From Base Camp about 5 hours of downhill walk reaches Julu. Once we reach Julu we will celebrate our successful summit of the Chulu East peak.

After having breakfast in Julu, we will start our hike to the beautiful village of Manang. This village seems like a piece of heaven on earth. Beginning our trek, we hike on a gentle trail observing the majestic views of high snow-topped peaks. Along the trail, you can also observe the stunning perspective of the valleys, Humde town with its short airstrip, and the considerable peak of Gangapurna, Annapurna II, III, Tilicho, and on the privilege Chulu east, on the back Pisang top. Along the way, we can also visit the Bearge Monastery- the largest monastery in the region. A great mixture of nature and spirituality will make our walk a wonderful one.

Continuing our hike, we will pass through several wonderful villages before we reach the biggest village in the region, Manang. This village is also the headquarters of headquarter of Manang district. Manang with its partnership with Mustang is the driest valley in the country.

This is the short day walk to Yak Kharka which lasts for 4 hours. However, the four hours walk on high altitude trail will give you enough challenges to traverse the high-altitude trail. Moving out of Manang village, our trail crosses a stream, climbs to the village of Tenki, and then climbs out of the Marshyangdi valley to reach the valley of Jarsang Khola.

From here our trail follows northward valleys passing through a few pastures, and a scrub of juniper trees. Walking furthermore, the trail passes through the small village of Ghunsa. Crossing a small river on a wooden bridge, the trails pass the ancient old Mani wall before reaching the small village of Yak Kharka. This village is a small settlement established as a stopover place for the Annapurna Circuit trekkers.

Another short yet spectacular trekking day today takes us to Thorong Phedi nestled at the bottom of Thorong La pass. During the hike to the beautiful village of Thorong Phedi, you will be rewarded with stunning views of Mt. Gundang, Mt. Syagang, Thorung Peak, and Mt. Khatungkan. Starting our walk early morning, we will walk on a steep trail before ascending up to the river. We will walk at a slow pace enjoying the glimpses of sunrise over the mountains. Crossing the river our trek ascends further uphill and passes through a towering cliff eventually reaching Thorong Phedi. Thorong Phedi is the last village of the region before Throng La.

Today is a big day for all of us. Today, we climb the Thorung La Pass towering up to the height of 5416 meters. Wake up early to climb out steeply to the first settlement of High Camp. The camp is made on the hill of the Thorung La. After a few hours, we will arrive at the top of the Thorung La. The pass lies above 5416 meters in the Damodar Himal. Prayer flags, memorials, and a tea house comprise the top. The top offers us great views of the surrounding peaks of Annapurna and Gangapurna.

After a while, we follow a steep path down to the sacred land of Muktinath. The place is also known to many as the Mukti Kshetra, the land of salvation. Bathe in the 108 waterspouts present in the Muktinath and also enjoy the never-ending flame in front of the temple. Enjoy the cool and dry weather of the Muktinath(3,800 meters) for the day.

An easy trekking day today as we visit the Jwala Mai Temple and Mharme Lha Khang in the morning. After breakfast, we will trek downhill and get to the Kagbeni village of Mustang district. Visit Dhumba Lake before finally arriving at the village of Jomsom. Jomsom(2,715 meters) is a famous destination for apple lovers. Jomsom and Marpha are similar villages, so we could stay wherever we want to. The villages are the apple capital of Nepal. We can also try out a local apple brandy called Marpha.

Enjoying the view for one last time we will board a morning flight from the Jomsom airstrip. Flying southward we pass through several gigantic snow-capped mountains. The 20 minutes mountain flight from Jomsom to Pokhara will be an incredible memory you won’t forget for lifelong.

Once we land at the beautiful lake city Pokhara, we will have leisure time for the day. You are on your own here. You can either stay in your luxurious hotel room or go to explore the town of Pokhara. Here, you can find massage to relieve the tiredness or just walk around the side of the peaceful lake enjoying the magnificent scenery of Mt Fishtail mirroring the divine Phewa Lake.

You might also go for adventurous activities such as paragliding, zip flying, bungee jumping, and many more.

We take a drive back to Kathmandu via the same highway we took earlier to go there. Once in Kathmandu, we spend leisurely time back in the chaos of the city after so many days of serene mountain air and incredible adventure.

You will have the full day to rest and acclimatize or explore the valley before we join you for the farewell dinner. Walking around the streets of Kathmandu; souvenir shopping; finding a massage or relaxing at the hotel can be easy ways to spend time.

On the last day of our trip, a representative of Himalayan Scenery Treks will drive you to the airport according to your flight schedule back to home or onward destination.

Meeting you has been such a wonderful experience, and we do hope our relationship will keep going long.
