Everest Base Camp - 6 Stars!

Even before landing in Kathmandu, I felt extremely confident my trip to EBC was going to be worry-free and professionally run. All my emails were promptly answered by Ramkrishna. I was picked up by a pleasant driver from the airport and dropped off at a very comfortable hotel. The next day was spent on introductions and a rundown of the trek itinerary with Ramkrishna. This was then followed by a leisurely tour of the sites of Kathmandu. After dinner, I was met by a staff member to organise a down jacket, sleeping bag and other essential pieces of equipment. Once again, this was done without any drama's.
On landing at Luckla, I was met by my guide Amar. He WAS a major reason why my trip was so enjoyable & memorable. His English is very good as was his sense of humour! Amar often pointed out things of interest on the local flora & fauna of the Everest region. His passion for this area is obvious. His attention to detail was excellent. Everything from making sure I was eating/drinking enough to adjusting the walking pace to get properly acclimatised was always on his mind. Amar was always upbeat and continually smiled. How could I not enjoy this trip?
I achieved a life long dream of visiting EBC and am of the opinion that I could not have chosen a better company to do this with. I hope to return in 2015 to attempt Island Peak. It's a 'no brainer' I'll chose this touring company again. Thanks guys for a wonderful experience!!

Trek to base camp and Kalar Pattar

Had a fantastic trip with Himalayan Scenery Treks, I was well looked after In Kathmandu before the Trek and while we had weather problems getting into Lukla they kept adjusting flights accommodation and the Trek to make it all work. They didn't charge for any of that and Ramkrishna went out of his way to help. I guess you find out more about a company when things go wrong (Weather induced issues) and I would trust this one. Trek was great and local tours accommodation etc. Great trip to Sagamartha National Park at the end. These guys know their stuff and I would highly recommend.

    Everest Panorama Trekking

This is the first time, may be the last, visiting Himalayan. We had a wonderful experience on the mountain. Our guide looked after us very well and changed plan according to our body conditions. We supposed to get to Namche in the second day, but we had to stay in Phakding overnight as we are both nearly 60. Thanks to God giving us a beautiful day on 14 Dec, it was clear and sunny, we could watch the Mt. Everest, the ultimate purpose we joined this trek. Mountains are so great and beautiful! No photos can tell! Our guide Shiva Sedal helped us almost everything we asked. The only thing that Shiva may have to prepare is an Aid pack in case his clients having sudden illness.

Everest base camp and island peak climbing

This company takes excellent care of you, from touchdown in Kathmandu till you leave! Compared to some other company's, very Budget friendly with as far as I have noticed no difference in qualitie and quantitie. With sometimes a little pleasant surprise around the corner, like a delicious farewell diner in a former palace with cultural dance.
Thank you guys for a Beautiful experience.

    Ghorepani Poon Hill Panoramic Trek

Have just finished the trip of a lifetime on the 6 day Nayapol to Ghorepani (Poon Hill) & return through Ghandruk. Very lucky with the weather and views of the Annapurna's were better than we could ever had imagined. The accommodation was really great as well. Our guide - Saran Adhikari - was the best. His English is very competent, his knowledge of the Annapurna region was incredible and his friendly manner was fantastic. Our porters Binod Ghastri & Bhimsen Banjara were always laughing and joking and we were the envy of every other group. They taught us a Nepalese card game which we played every night with them. We are 50 plus and spent time training for the trek which we strongly advise you to do! Especially going up and down steps. We were fortunate to have two lovely Thai girls in our group and though they were much younger than us, we got on really well and have become good friends. To sum up no photo can do justice to the beauty and majesty of these mountains, it was worth every hard step of the way. The Nepalese people themselves are always beautiful and friendly, smiling always, even though you can see how hard their lives are. We cannot recommend the trek and Himalayan Social Journey highly enough as they made our journey a wonderful experience.

    Everest Base Camp

Everest Base Camp. Wow, I made it. Could not have done it so smoothly without the help of Himalayan Scenery and my guide, Basu. Everything went perfectly. These guys really know what they are doing. All their advice and recommendations really paid off; as the whole trip went as smooth as silk.
There are so many nuances on big trips like this. The advice to "not drink the water" is just the start. My guide, Basu, and the owner of Himalayan Scenery, Ramkrishna, must have advised me on over a hundred items. They were making recommendations on things that I had not even thought about. I'm glad they had years and years of experience.
This company offers a great product at a great price. Would recommend them to anybody.
My hike was in the fall. Which is after the monsoons and before the snow. The rain made all the trees and plants come alive. It was such a fresh smell to walk through the forests of rhododendrons. The views of the valleys and snow covered mtn.'s was nothing short of spectacular.
I have included a few pictures here from my phone-camera. The one of the snow shows Nuptse Mtn. and the Khumbu Glacier. The glacier looks brown/gray as it has rocks and dirt on top of it. But it is all ice and snow beneath. Earlier in the day, we had walked by where the ice melts into water and that water is crystal clear.
The picture of the green valley shows the "switchbacks" up to Tingboche in the background. This part of the trail is probably the toughest to hike. My guide, Basu, kept reminding me "slowly, slowly" and we would take breaks at certain scenic spots on the way up. There are also lots of trekkers from around the world on the trail; all covering about the same distance each day. As the days pass, you would meet up with them at the same rest spots and exchange stories.
The last picture is of me at the goal, EBC.

    Annapurna circuit

Im a 22 yr old Carpenter from Brisbane, Australia. Just returned home from a trip to nepal that i did solo. I was lucky enough to meet up with Ramkrishna in Kathmandu and he organised a great trek for me on the annapurna circuit. The trek was fantastic, I have never been to such an amazing place. i will hopefully return one day.
Ram also hooked me up with a great guide called Bikram, who was really friendly, funny and helpful.
If your thinking of going to nepal, I highly recommend contacting Ram at HimalayanST. He really looked after me, Not only on the trek but my whole stay in nepal. He organised a trip for me to chitwan after my trek, as well as paragliding, and just general sight seeing. A very healpfull, honest guy.
