Yoga is the antiquated technique of exercise that mainly focuses on breathing, flexibility, and strength with a specific end goal to help physical and in addition mental prosperity. Different studies and research done over yoga suggested that practicing yoga is a compelling approach for expanding the quality, adaptability, and adjustment of the body.

So why yoga in trekking? Trekking with Yoga allows you to encounter the diverse flavor of nature by opening your psyche and body through daily meditation along with enjoying the breathtaking scenery and the most spiritual mountain range of the vast Himalayas. We, Himalayan Scenery Treks & Expedition have come up with new Annapurna Yoga trekking, which offers you a better way to experience the superb Himalayan landscape, magnificent scene rich verdure.

The most exciting and relaxing yoga trek in the Annapurna begins with a short drive and relaxing walk to the small village of Sirubari. Sirubari is an ethnic village situated at the altitude of 1700m with the facility of a homestay. After spending overnight at this village, we will trek to Panchase which is at the height of 2500m from the Sirubari village. Frome the Panchase we will be able to witness the stunning panoramic view of the Dhaulagiri and Annapurna ranges along with fishtail and Manaslu.

NOTE:It is recommended that you should arrive in Kathmandu a day earlier before you start your trek (if you do not have a day tour of Kathmandu scheduled). And If you have scheduled a Kathmandu day tour you should arrive two days prior to the actual day of trekking.

If you are able to arrive a day earlier, it will be best for you as you will get some time to rest, know about the trekking you are doing, get info about the trekking routes, and get time to buy trekking equipment if necessary. Adding some extra days beside actual trekking days will help you enjoy your trip to Nepal to the fullest without having to worry about any preparations, flight delays, and missing international flights.

We mark the start of your adventure with warm greetings at the Tribhuvan International Airport. After transferring from the airport to your hotel in Kathmandu, you can relax and explore the area at your own leisure.

We will spend a full day in Kathmandu to acclimatize. A briefing session will be held in the morning to go over details and answer any queries you might have for the trek ahead.

After the briefing, we’ll be off to see the city proper. The sites we will visit include Swoyambhunath - the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square – to see the temple of the Living Goddess and other medieval architectural wonders; Pashupatinath – to immerse into Hindu death rites on the banks of the holy river; and Boudhanath – a massive Buddhist shrine considered as the biggest in the world.

Pack your bags and we will head to Pokhara via a 6-hours overland journey. Along the way, enjoy views of the Himalayan peaks and countryside hills.

Once we reach Pokhara, you will have time to wander around the charming lake city. Rest for the night there, in preparation for the big day tomorrow.

First day of our journey on foot! We begin with a short 1.5-hour transfer by vehicle to Nayapul, which is our starting point. After checking into the Annapurna Conservation Area, we will walk up a dirt road leading to Hile, with a lunch break along the way. The trail then starts properly to Tikhedhunga, which is a short distance away. We will take a break there to gather our energy before climbing the steep steps up to the scenic village in Ulleri, where we end the day.

We will go on an easy pace today. Ulleri provides the first glimpse of snow-capped mountain peaks, and as the trail ascends gradually towards Banthanti, we can enjoy spectacular views of the sacred Machapuchare (Fishtail). The trail then enters Schima and hazelnut forests, before leading us out to Nangethanti. After lunch, the route will be filled with beautiful rhododendron blooms. As we reach the upper Ghorepani, spectacular mountain views will welcome us to this beautiful settlement.

We will get up early to hike up to Poonhill, the famous viewpoint that lies at 3,210 meters above sea level. It boasts panoramic views of the mountain peaks in the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range. As the sun rises, the mighty peaks become a natural canvas, as the first rays of sunlight pour magical colors upon them.

Head back to our teahouse for breakfast, and then we are back on the road. We begin with an ascent up steep stone stairs before hitting a long downhill stretch where we can catch our breath. Finish with a burst of an uphill climb to reach Tadapani, and there we can enjoy up-close views of Annapurna south, the Fishtail, and Hiunchuli.

The trail descends steeply through rhododendron and oak forests before arriving at a teahouse in Chuile for lunch. We will continue down to a river and cross a suspension bridge, after which the trek will start going uphill steeply before petering out to a gradual slope. The final section of the day is an easy walking trail to Chomrong, a beautiful Gurung village to rest after a demanding day.

We traverse the trail deep into the Annapurna valley today as we head to Dobhan. Following steep stone stairs, we will descend down to Chhomrong Khola and then switch back to climbing up again through bamboo forests. The glorious Annapurna massif encourages us to hike on upwards until we reach Dobhan for dinner and sleep.

Today we will walk closely to the Annapurna glaciers and past the base of Machapuchare. At Machapuchare base camp, we will take a break to take in the views of the surrounding mountains. After that, it’s onwards to the highest point of our trek!

From MBC, a beautiful boulder-strewn path leads us to our ultimate destination - Annapurna Base Camp. Here you finally reap the rewards after hard days of trekking. At a lofty 4130m above sea level, the beauty and majesty of Annapurna will be on the display right in front of your eyes.

Savor a breathtaking sunrise view of the Annapurna and capture the grandeur of the high craggy peaks in your memories. We must then bid goodbye to ABC after breakfast and begin our downward trek. Our hike will end back today in Dobhan for an overnight stay there.

Retracing the trail downwards allows us to appreciate the wondrous mountain scenery from a different angle. Passing by Chhomrong, we aim for Jhinu where there are natural hot spring baths. Enjoy a reviving soak in the hot spring waters and listen to the sounds of the melodious flow of the Modi Khola river while you soothe your aching muscles.

Today is the final day of our journey. Our route will be complete as we loop back to Nayapul. The Modi Khola will lead us there, meandering through beautiful villages, rice terraces, and wheat fields down its steep banks.

Our time in the serene mountains will come to an end when we check out from the area at Nayapul. A vehicle will drive us back to Pokhara where the comforts of the city await after our long trek in the highlands.

Fly off from Pokhara Domestic Airport to Kathmandu in the morning. The land transfer will be arranged to send you to your hotel from Kathmandu airport. Once there, you are free to explore the colorful town with its narrow lanes and charming shops or rest at the hotel. We will meet again in the evening for a fine celebratory dinner, complete with a Nepali cultural show, to commemorate your conquest of the Himalayas.

All good things must end as we come to your final day in Nepal. You can squeeze in some last-minute shopping before our transport arrives to send you to the airport for your flight home. We bid you farewell, and may you leave with beautiful memories and a wonderful experience of the Himalayas.
