Everest Panorama Trek is a short and beautiful trekking in the Everest region. An ideal adventure trekking trip for the people who love short trekking trips in the mountains, this trek brings wonderful memories and experiences to the trekkers.

While you are on this trip that is also famous as Everest View Trek, you will be trekking half way through the trail to the Everest Base Camp Trekking. Trekking up to the elevation of 3,860 meters above sea level when you reach Tengboche brings you spectacular views of mountain peaks including the Mt. Everest. Mountain peaks like Thamserku, Kwangde, Ama Dablam etc. in addition to the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest make the trip fascinating.

This trek is a rich cultural exploration of the Sherpa people living in the region and their culture. You can also explore the Budhhist monastery and experience the immense influence of the Budhism in the life style of people there. You walk past river valley crossing Dudh Koshi River several times and ascending the magical trails amidst the mountains. You trek along the Everest Base Camp trekking trail up to Tengboche and return back via Khumjung village.

Detail Itinerary

Day 01Welcome to Kathmandu – 1,400mIn accordance with your flight schedule, we will be at the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu to extend a warm welcome to you in our beautiful country for the beautiful trip. After exchanging warm welcome greetings at the arrival section, we will lead you to our vehicle to transfer you to our trip hotel. It’s a day at complete leisure on your own to relax the jetlag. But we definitely help you with the information to go around in case you’d like to do so.

Day 02Preparation and Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu – BWe spend a full day in Kathmandu today which will be a necessary acclimatization day as well. Early in the morning after breakfast, we will meet for trip briefing where we will talk about this amazing trip in details and answer your questions should you have any. After the brief meeting is over, we are taking you for an amazing cultural sightseeing tour of heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. The sites we take you for the sightseeing today include Swoyambhunath - the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square – to see the temple of Living Goddess and other medieval architectural wonders, Pashupatinath – to immerse into Hindu death rites on the bank of a holy river, and Boudhanath – a massive Buddhist shrine considered as the biggest in the world.

Day 03Kathmandu – Lukla 2,860m – Phakding 2,610m – B.L.DWe get ready early in the morning for our flight to Lukla. We are going to set our foot on the marvelous Everest region. A short and beautiful flight lands us at Lukla airstrip where incredible mountain views welcome us to the charming mountain region. As soon as we come out of the airport, we get ready to begin the trekking journey. We are trekking to Phakding today on a gentle and easy trail that takes us past chhortens, mani walls, prayer flags etc. to let us know that the region has a big influence of Buddhism. We reach Phakiding on the bank of Dudh Koshi River to stay overnight.

Day 04Phakding – Namche Bazar 3,440m – B.L.DWe are going to enter Sagarmatha national park on our trek to Namche Bazar today. As we hit the trail from Phakding, we follow the river and cross in in many different places over suspension bridges. Once we check at the national park check point at Monjo, we continue walking towards the destination. Although the trail today gives us pretty tough challenge of traversing uphill trail, we go on a gentle pace to ease the challenge. Bustling Namche Bazar welcomes us for overnight stay.

Day 05Acclimatization Day – B.L.DNamche Bazar is an ideal point to take an additional overnight stay to acclimatize. Thus we are going to explore around Namche Bazar and return back here to stay overnight. We enjoy the breakfast and set out for the day. We hike up to the Everest View Point. This incredible hike brings to a point that brings the epic Everest to our view for the very first time on the trip. We enjoy captivating views of the mountains and spend time exploring the surroundings before descending back to Namche Bazar. We wander around this beautiful Sherpa village for the rest of the day and adjust with the climate.

Day 06Namche Bazar – Tengboche 3,860m – B.L.DOn the third day of the trek to the Everest Base Camp, our destination is Tengboche. The first section of the trek goes uphill and becomes gentler before it descends to a mountain stream. After crossing the stream, it goes steep uphill towards Tengboche. Tengboche is a small and beautiful settlement that has great views of mountain peaks. The Buddhist monastery there, famously known as Tengboche Monastery, is a rich example of Buddhist cultural traditions prevalent in the region. We explore the monastery and surrounding and spend overnight here.

Day 07Tengboche – Khumjung 3,790m – B.L.DOn our trek along and amongst the magnificent mountains, we are trekking down to Khumjung village. A small and beautiful village, Khumjung boasts perfect views of mountains including Khumbila peak. Once we are Khumjung we spend time lazing around and exploring a monastery there.

Day 08 Khumjung – Monjo 2,835m – B.L.DWe enjoy our breakfast at the lodge in Khumjung and get ready to trek to Monjo. We trek past Namche Bazar where we stop for the lunch. Later, we trek down to Monjo to stay overnight. The day will be full of the wonders of Himalayan views today as well.

Day 09 Monjo – Lukla 2,860m – B.L.D We trek back to Lukla today to finish the trekking journey. We trek past Phakding village; encounter the Dudh Koshi River along the trail and eventually reach Lukla. As the final day of the trek, we can celebrate the beautiful adventure. We see off our trekking potters here today thanking them for all the help they provided to make our trip possible.

Day 10 Lukla – Kathmandu 1,400m – B.DWe wake up early for our flight back to Kathmandu. We say goodbye to the serene and magnificent mountains and board the flight to come back to the city civilization. The rest of the afternoon in Kathmandu will be at leisure. Walking around the streets of Kathmandu; souvenir shopping; finding massage or relaxing at the hotel can be easy ways to spend time.
We are taking you for the farewell dinner and to celebrate the successful completion of Everest base camp trek tonight.

Day 11 Contingency Day – BWe have an additional day to make up any possible delay on the trip due to flight cancellation or any other reason.

Day 12Departure Day – B It’s the final day of the trip. We will drive you to airport as per your flight schedule.
