After exchanging warm welcome greetings at the arrival section, we will lead you to our vehicle to transfer you to our trip hotel. It’s a day at complete leisure on your own to relax the jetlag. But we definitely help you with the information to go around in case you’d like to do so.

Day 02 Preparation and Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu – BWe spend a full day in Kathmandu today which will be a necessary acclimatization day as well. Early in the morning after breakfast, we will meet for trip briefing where we will talk about this amazing trip in details and answer your questions should you have any. After the brief meeting is over, we are taking you for an amazing cultural sightseeing tour of heritage sites in Kathmandu valley. The sites we take you for the sightseeing today include Swoyambhunath - the oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square – to see the temple of Living Goddess and other medieval architectural wonders, Pashupatinath – to immerse into Hindu death rites on the bank of a holy river, and Boudhanath – a massive Buddhist shrine considered as the biggest in the world.

Day 03 Kathmandu – Bahundanda 1,310m – B.L.DEarly breakfast prepares us for a long day drive to Bahundanda in Lamjung to start the trek. About 8 hours of long drive sees Nepali highway drive through small towns that show a pure countryside life in Nepal. Although we are yet to see more of the rural and remote Nepal during our trek around the Annapurna circuit, the drive brings us some ideas about the rural Nepalese life style. The drive goes along the Trishuli River and follows Marshyangdi River later. Both the rivers emerge from the Himalayas and flow through the mountains and middle hills. We stop for lunch and other breaks along the way and eventually reach Bahundanda after a long and tiring drive.

Day 04 Bahundanda – Chamje 1,430m – B.L.DWe start the adventure trek on the trail that goes around the Annapurna massif. This is the first edirt road that has been constructed up to Manang. We might encounter occasional motorcycles and jeeps along the way. The trek stops at Jagat for lunch and continues towards Chamje. It is fairly an easy day of the trek as we haven’t yet entered the high altitude region. The walk today has less steep going so it feels gentle that is fairly good for the first day of long trekking journey.

Day 05 Chamje – Bagarchhap 2,140m – B.L.DThe second trekking day of the Annapurna circuit trekking adventure leads us towards Bagarchhap via Dharapani today. We gain about 700 meters of elevation on our trek. The trek goes via Dharapani where we might meet trekkers coming from Manaslu circuit trek as the root connects at this place. After lunch we move further ahead following the Marshyangdi valley with spectacular landscape and view along the way. Bagarchhap stands at 2,140 meters above sea level and is a beautiful place to spend overnight.

Day 06 Bagarchhap – Chame 2,650m – B.L.DBagarchhap to Chame section in the circuit trail is an interesting walk of the trek. The walk brings some spectacular views of the mountains in the massif. As we gain the elevation on the trek, we take slower pace to adjust with the altitude. The slower pace provides ample time to acclimatize and to enjoy the majestic views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. When we reach Chame, we will have some time to explore the beauty of this beautiful settlement.

Day 07 Chame – Pisang 3,300m – B.L.DWe go well over to 3,300 meters above sea level on our walk today. We will experience the change in the landscape as we go higher towards the destination. The Chame – Pisang stretch on the trail has some magnificent views of the giant peaks of Annapurna and Pisang peak. Our effort of traversing the trail goes for about six hours that brings beautiful walking experience.

Day 08Pisang – Manang 3500m – B.L.DWe take our breakfast at the tea house and start the trek for the day to Manang. Of the two different routes, we take the route via Upper Pisang and Geru. The route boasts incredible views of the mountain peaks. Towering peaks of Annapurna, Pisang and several other gigantic and beautiful peaks make us forget the challenge of the trek. We also visit a monastery called Barge monastery on the way. Stay overnight at Manang.

Day 09Acclimatization Day – B.L.DWe will spend an extra day as part of acclimatization. We go for some hiking trip to Bhojo Gompa or Gangapurna Lake. The hiking excursion will be helpful to us to adjust with the high altitude climate and at the same time we can enjoy some charming views of the area. Stay overnight at Manang.

Day 10Manang – Leder 4200m - B.L.DWe walk to Leder today after breakfast at Manang. As we are walking in the high altitude and heading towards even higher elevation, we find a clear difference on the landscape and vegetation. We walk to our destination today via Yak Kharka. We set up our camp at a high altitude pasture at Leder for overnight stay.

Day 11Leder – Chulu West Base Camp 4900m – B.L.DWe walk to the base camp of Chulu West today after breakfast. About 5 hours of trekking today takes us to the base camp. When we reach the base camp, we can enjoy a great view of the mountain peaks in the Annapurna range. Supporting members of our crew will set up the camps while we can explore and enjoy the surrounding at the base camp.

Day 12Base Camp – Camp I 5100m – B.L.DWe set off for the climb to the camp I. As a high altitude uphill walk, it’s going to be pretty challenging although it’s not a technical climb. Literally, it’s a hiking trip in the high altitude. On the walk to the camp I, we can enjoy some overwhelming views of the mountain peaks.
Stay overnight at Camp I.

Day 13Acclimatization Rest at Camp I - B.L.DWe spend the day here resting and adjusting with the high altitude climate. Our supporting crew members will set up the route and take the supplies and equipment to Camp II for tomorrow. We take a good rest so that we save enough energy for the climb tomorrow.
Stay overnight at Camp I.

Day 14Camp I – Camp II 5530m – B.L.DThe climb today to Camp II is a sort of rock climb. Although the climb doesn’t involve too much of technical part, we have to be very careful and in some places we might need to use the climbing gear. We spend the night at camp II today.

Day 15Camp II – Chulu West Summit 6419m – Camp I 5100m - B.L.DToday is the highlight of the trip as we are going to attempt the summit of Chulu West. We start very early in the morning and head towards the summit. The climb is straight upward on icy trail. We climb slowly and carefully towards the summit enjoying fabulous view of the surrounding Himalayas. After the summit, we return all the way back to Camp I for the overnight stay.

Day 16Camp I – Leder 4200 m – B.L.DAfter breakfast today, we walk all the way back to Leder via Base Camp of the Chulu West. We relish the view and beautiful memory of the summit adventure of the beautiful Chulu West.
Stay overnight at Leder.

Day 17 Contingency Day – B.L.DThis is our extra day for the trip as contingency day. In case of bad weather and many other unfavorable circumstances, we might need to use this day to get the situation in our favor. Whether or not to use this day depends on how much the circumstance favors us for the adventure

Day 18Leder – Thorong Phedi 4450m – B.L.DWe walk to Thorong Phedi today after breakfast. It’s an easy and shorter trekking day compared to what we have done so far. We stay overnight at the base of Thorong La pass today. Thorong Phedi is a small settlement and overnight site for the trekkers in the Annapurna circuit.

Day 19Thorong Phedi – Thorong La 5416m – Jomsom 2715m – B.L.DWe wake up very early in the morning and set off on the trek towards Thorong La. The walk to the pass is a slow and steady, paced walk which will test our endurance on the high altitude. The long, gradual looking, sandy trail leads us to the Thorong La pass at the elevation of 5416 meters above sea level. After crossing the pass, we trek down to Muktinath for the lunch. We can visit a beautiful and sacred temple at Muktinath. After the lunch, we drive to Jomsom for overnight stay.

Day 20Jomsom – Pokhara 900 m - BWe take another incredible morning mountain flight to Pokhara enjoying the mountain range. Once we check into the hotel in Pokhara we will have leisurely time to find some soothing massage, chilled beer or relaxing stroll around lake side. The relaxing and leisurely time in Pokhara today should give us some good recovery from the tiredness of pedaling for many days in the high mountains.

Day 21 Pokhara – Kathmandu 1400m - B.DWe drive back to Kathmandu on the same highway we took to go to Pokhara earlier. Another six hours on the highway will give us time to observe the villages and towns on the way from a different angle. After reaching Kathmandu and checking into hotel, we will have some free time to wander around the streets of Thamel.

Day 22 See You Again – BAs the last day on this trip, we drive you to airport as per your flight schedule back to home or onward destination.
