Mount Kailash overland from
Nepal |
This tour provides the
opportunity to make the "ultimate pilgrimage" to
holy Kailash and Manasarovar. Commencing from
Kathmandu in Nepal the tour is inclusive of an
overland journey to the sacred Manasarovar Lake
and Mount Kailash. Camping by the ethereal
waters of the holy lake with a three -day Kora
(journey) around Mt. Kailash A special and very
spiritual journey in a holy and beautiful land.
The tour includes rigorous overland driving,
trekking and camping through remote regions of
Western Tibet, at altitudes of 2,745m/ 9,000ft
and 4,880m/16,000ft, hiking to a maximum of
5600m/18,400ft. A Nature Trails team with
Sherpas / cooks and a guide are on hand .All
camping equipment is provided. Clients carry a
small daypack and the pace is easy. Equipment
and luggage is carried by porters/pack-animals.
